UbuntuStudio, amateur and professional multimedia production, Linux
UbuntuStudio is a variant of Ubuntu that allows the creation of multimedia (audio, video and graphics), all of course under the GNU GPL.
The future is Free and Open Source Software 
Ubuntu Studio uses a real-time kernel for low latency applications, during setup allows you to choose whether to install all packages or only a few according to actual needs. The software is divided in: Audio, Video and Graphics.
It 'can be downloaded from the site of UbuntuStudio UbuntuStudio.org .
Also you can turn Ubuntu into Ubuntu Studio by installing the following packages:
sudo apt-get install desktop-UbuntuStudio
sudo apt-get install UbuntuStudio-Audio
sudo apt-get install UbuntuStudio-audio-plugins
sudo apt-get install UbuntuStudio-graphics
sudo apt-get install UbuntuStudio-video
UbuntuStudio-desktop, customize the graphics of your ubuntu, but other packages are for multimedia creation, each packet is independent of the other, except for the audio-plugins package that implements the plugin audio package.
